Happy Saturday, everyone! This week I decided to let you guys in on what I've been listening to and watching recently. Let's jump right in!
LISTENING:
These past few months, I've been listening to Mt. Joy's self-titled album, Mt. Joy, pretty much on repeat. I started listening to this band after they performed at Hinterland last summer and completely won me over. Mt. Joy consists of 13 songs, all with a similar laid-back, rock feeling. Their songwriting is fantastic, and their musical skills are subtle but equally impressive. I love all the songs on the record, but some of my favorites include "I'm Your Wreck", "Bigfoot", "Julia", "Astrovan", and "Younger Days". The album is just great song after great song and is the perfect record to dance around the house.
To find out more about Mt. Joy, you can find them on their website, and to listen to the album "Mt. Joy", you can buy it on their website, or stream it wherever you choose to stream music.
I am a huge podcast fan. I have the ones that I listen to weekly, and the ones that I can binge whenever I think
about them. My favorite podcast of all time is the wildly-popular "Crime Junkie". If you love true crime, you will be hooked on this podcast. "Crime Junkie" is hosted by childhood friends, Ashley Flowers and Brit. Between their expert story-telling, great sidebars, and fantastic chemistry, these women are an absolute joy to listen to. Each story will have you hooked and waiting for the next episode.

WATCHING:
This week, one of my new favorite shows started its final season. I don't watch a lot of anime, but Attack on Titan is an absolute masterpiece. Based on a manga by the same name, the show is set in a world where humanity lives within three enormous walls, protecting them from man-eating, humanoid creatures called Titans. The story follows Eren Yeager and his friends Armin, and Mikasa as they navigate war against the Titans. The show is action-packed, twisting, heart-wrenching, and will keep you wanting more. I don't watch much TV, but I watched all three and a half seasons that have been released in under a month. The art style is gorgeous, the music is poetic, the characters complex and charming, and the story is fantastic.
You can watch Attack on Titan on Hulu, or Crunchyroll.
So that's it! That's a lot of what I've been watching and listening to recently. Do you guys already know about these? If not, let me know what you think! Stay tuned for my updated list next month.
